This motherboard, being the "MAX" variant of the B450 Tomahawk is already set up for Ryzen 7 out of the box. Everything worked first time, and my system has been running for 3 weeks with no issues. Overclocking also does not seem to be a problem - temperatures and performance have stayed well within acceptible ranges. I was hesitating between the B450 Tomahawk Max and this one (the B450-A PRO MAX) and It does everything I need it to do. The bios and features are the same as the Tomahawk so saving a little bit of money was worth it. This board does the job if you need a good motherboard while not caring much for the aesthetics. The TV stays off most the time and my monitor is the primary device.
